Our capacity building program for one council staff member develops your skills, ability and efficiency with a combination of training, coaching, mentoring and technical support for your specific projects. The program runs for one year, and will kick off in February 2026 - March 2027. The program includes:
One-on-one session to set your role-based goals and learning journey (1 hr)
Access to all training courses provided by Council CLM Central over the year
Group coaching sessions - six sessions (1 hr each) over one year to learn by examples from participants and the facilitator's experiences. Coaching groups are limited to 6 participants
Help desk function - you get up to 3 hrs of service desk where you can book 0.5 - 1 hr one-on-one meetings with the facilitator to ask project specific questions, and learn by examples from your council
One-on-one close out session to evaluate progress and set a way forward (1 hr)
The facilitator will contact you to set up meetings and discuss your goals and learning journey once signed up.
This program is only for NSW Council staff. You must have a council email address to sign up.
